Get Out of Debt!

The greatest thing my Dad ever taught me growing up, was not to get a credit card! Before I got married I used cash only. Each week that I got paid I put money back for each of my bills, such as; student loan, rent, gas, savings, etc... After I did that, I gave myself an allowance and once that money was gone, I was done for the week! In other words, if you don't have the money for it, you don't need it! By doing this, all of my bills were paid and my student loan was paid off by the time I finished school.

Start off by putting money away in a savings account for emergencies. After that work on paying off your smallest debt first and work your way up. Do this so that you can celebrate the small victories and have the motivation to keep it up.

Look at all of your "stuff". Do you REALLY need that newer car? Sell it and buy something you can pay off quickly. What about all those new clothes in your closet? Have a yard sell and put that money towards paying off a bill and try buying clothes from the clearance rack or from a consignment shop instead.

By taking baby steps, you will be on your way to a much more abundant life very soon!

My Cleaning Schedule

I am a crazy woman when it comes to having a clean house! With two little ones, it's hard to keep the house picked up for too long. So, I came up with a cleaning schedule. This helps me to keep the house nice and clean while still spending quality time with my family.

Monday: Dishes, Dust, wash two loads of laundry and pick up.

Tuesday: Spend the day with the kids doing something fun.

Wednesday: Dishes, Vacuum, mop, wash four loads of laundry and pick up.

Thursday: Dishes, Clean the bathroom, pick up and grocery shop after the kids go to bed.

Friday: Vacuum, mop, laundry, and anything extra.

Saturday: FREE, unless I'm making freezer meals.

Sunday: A day of rest. (After church!)

John 3:16-17

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
